The popular “Maria” hit singer, has passed away after a brief illness.
The news singer Ally B untimely demise has left a void in the hearts of many, including Kenyan celebrities, politicians, and fans, who have fondly remembered him for using his music to spread messages of peace, love, and unity.
One particular tribute that has touched the hearts of many comes from the well-known Kenyan musician and entrepreneur, Akothee. In a heartfelt social media post, Akothee expressed her gratitude to Ally B for the significant role he played in her life. She reminisced about the laughter and encouragement he provided and made a surprising revelation about how he had inadvertently played a part in her love life.
Akothee stated, “Thank you very much for the part you played in my life, the laughter, the encouragement, and thank you for giving me a husband. Your song ‘Maria’ made an Ambassador fall in love with me. You know we used to joke about it. Dominic will be heartbroken when he hears that you’ve left us.”
Akothee further revealed the close friendship between her and Ally B, acknowledging that she had not been in regular contact with him recently due to the demands of her busy life.
She expressed her deep sadness over his untimely departure and reminisced about the memorable trips they had taken to Europe together. These journeys had provided her with valuable life lessons, particularly the importance of humility.
