A section of Kenyans have been wondering where Willy Paul gets money considering that he no longer performs in shows consistently.
Some wondered how he is able to pay for the production of his songs and videos as well as finance his lavish lifestyle.
“Huyu jamaa anatoa wapi pesa ya video shoot,” Kabobo Katee shared on social media.
“Na hana shows na ha hana endorsements,” another netizen agreed with her.
“And he is always consistent without those shows and endorsements. Seems he get money from somewhere else,” read another comment.
The concerns have since reached the Saldidp Records owner and he has decided to respond to them on a post he shared on his Instagram account.
Willy Paul has asked Kenyans to leave him alone.
According to him, his responsibility is to release good music for them.
“Ati Pozze Anatoa Wapi Pesa??? Wewe Wachaneni Na Life Yangu Bana. Bora Niwape Mziki Poa Kushinda Sauti Sol Na Nyash Na Khali. Tulieni Mpangwe Sasa. New Music This Friday,” he wrote.
His post has drawn mixed reactions with some rubbishing his bragging about releasing good music as compared to Khaligraph and Nyashnski.
“Aaaahh shuksha bana hakuna kitu inaeza kuwa Kali kushinda Khali,” one of his followers told him.
