Tanzanian gospel diva Rose Muhando is addressing Pastor Ezekiel Odero after he called her out for her questionable musical collaborations.
In a candid audio clip that has taken social media by storm, the “Nibebe” singer admitted to her shortcomings in the music industry and pledged to make a comeback to her roots.
In a heartfelt message, Rose acknowledged Pastor Ezekiel’s prophetic insights, saying, “Ninakushukuru kwa sababu ninachojua, Mungu ameniona na kinywa cha nabii ni kinywa cha Mungu.”
She expressed immense respect for Ezekiel’s anointing and indicated that she was ready to take his advice seriously.
Emphasizing her commitment to change, she said, “Ninanyeyekea mbele za mkono wa Mungu, na ninatii kile ulichoniambia na nitafanya kama ulivyoniambia.”
Rose even went a step further, inviting the pastor to continue calling her out on any missteps in her gospel ministry, so she doesn’t stray from the path.
“Kuanzia leo, nimefunguka na nimerudi kwenye nafasi yangu,” she proclaimed, thanking the Holy Spirit for directing Pastor Ezekiel to offer her wisdom.
It’s clear she’s taking the pastor’s words to heart, and she’s not shy about showing appreciation for his guidance.
Pastor Ezekiel stirred the pot by questioning where the original Rose Muhando has gone, reminiscing about her iconic tracks like “Yesu Nipe Uvumilivu” and “Nimekukimbilia Bwana.”
He wasn’t afraid to point out that her recent endeavors have leaned more toward questionable dance performances rather than the soul-stirring gospel she’s known for.
“Yupo wapi Rose Muhando wa nyimbo nzuri? Hizi za kukatika kiuno si yeye,” he stated, urging her to return to her gospel roots and revive the genuine message she once passionately delivered.
With Rose’s new resolve, fans will be watching closely to see if she truly follows through on her promise to clean up her act and reconnect with her gospel legacy.
