The country was distraught after learning about the rogue cop who went on a killing spree by killing his lover Carol and other people.
The rogue cop, Benson Imbatu killed his girlfriend of a few weeks and five other people before he went ahead to commit suicide evading the law.
Reportedly, Benson Imbatu and Carol started dating in September and the relationship was getting serious as well. They’ve been cohabitating for one month prior to their death. 
Officer Imbatu used to work at Kabete Police Station and met up with the late Carol at a bar and thereafter, they fell in love and started courting each other.
Carol moved into Benson Imbatu’s house at J Heights Apartments in Kangemi on November 12, 2021, and even opened up a bar for her where she was running it.
The rogue cop started to suspect Carol’s infidelity which made him a sour and jealous man who was very vindictive.
Without warning, he went back to his apartment and sprayed bullets with his AK-47 assault rifle, and killed her right then and there.
