Milly Chebby has broken silence on Jackie Matubia’s much awaited series ‘Toxic’ that will premier on April 17.
Speaking at a recent Nip Nap event where Nameless and Wahu were unveiled as brand ambassadors, the mother of one referred to Jackie as a phenomenal actress.
She further anticipated to watch the film that will be premiering on Wednesday this week.
“I am super proud of Jackie. She is a phenomenal actress and I have always told her that. She was born to shine on screen. Taking such a big step, stepping out of her comfort zone to pursue something she has contemplated for years is commendable. I can’t wait to watch toxic,” she said.
Jackie parted ways with Milly and her husband Terence creative last year, shortly after ending her relationship with Blessing Lungaho.
Efforts by radio presenter Massawe Japanni to reconcile in December 2023 them however did not bear any fruits.
Later, Terence explained the circumstance of their fall out.
“Kama mtu ni dadako mkikosana bado nyinyi ni madada pengine tofauti yenu inawezafanya muwe kando kidogo kwa muda mkijaribu kufikiria ni ujinga gani hii ilitukosanisha na how do we go about this. It is very necessary, it is very health at times kukaa kando kidogo ndio muweze kuelewana ndio mueze kudhaminiana ndio mueze kuelewa ni wapi tunadhaminiana kama madada,” the comedian explained.
On the other hand, Milly said, “I will say it’s life. People I schooled with in primary, I was not with them in high school or campus. I am not with the people I lived with in Pangani and it’s not that we quarrelled. That’s how life seasons are. There are seasons where a person comes with a purpose and delivers it and their purpose in your life ends.”
