Days after marrying his wife in a beautiful traditional ceremony, netizens dug up an old scandalous screenshot of NicK Odhiambo’s conversation.
The screenshot was from a WhatsApp group chat. In the conversation, a man identified as Byron shared a comprising photo of a woman sleeping, in what was deemed a cheating scandal.
After the photo, Odhiambo asked Byron,”Byron where did you get this photo, that’s my wife.”
“Makosa imefanyika,” Byron responded to him.
Odhiambo has however come out to address the screenshot that is trending again, noting that it is 10 years old and those sharing it are only after ruining his happy marriage.
He was forced to address the photo after receiving numerous phone calls.
“You’re saying that a man can’t stay happily married for more than 24 hours? Who hurt you? That trending pic is from 10 years ago. And a cropped screenshot. I was wondering why people are calling my number and hanging up all day today,” he said.
To further confirm his words, he shared an article that was written by a local website in 2018 which revealed that the screenshot was just a joke.
According to the report, the prior Screenshot, did not capture the whole conversation which was in Dholuo language.
The report further indicated that another screenshot, of the whole conversation, emerged, indicating the whole conversation, where Odhiambo clarified his relationship with the woman on the photo.
“Hehe, I am just playing, simjui huyo dada,” he said.
