Ngesh of ‘Kaveve Kazoze’ hit song is back to square zero seven months after she rose to fame.
Ngesh rose to fame together with her Spider Clan music group after their song ‘Kaveve Kazoze’ took over the airwaves by storm.
At the time, Ngesh in particular received nationwide fame and even rubbed shoulders with politicians like Karen Nyamu, Mike Sonko and others.
Ngesh and Spider Clan members now claim they did not benefit from the fame of the viral song.
The group opened up about their woes while speaking during an interview on Jalango TV on December 7, 2023.
One of the group’s member Paul lamented that life had became so tough that they are now walking with their CVs as they hunt for jobs.
“Maisha imekuwa ngumu because even some promoters came on board but nothing. We were even promised jobs, but see we even have our CVs here with us, we are job searching. Saa izi tuko chini mbaya,” Paul said.
“Tunabahasha hapa za kusaka job,” he added.
Banguz, Mosree, Ngesh, and Mguzu, also echoed the same sentiments.
Ngesh, the most famous of the group, weighed in separately opening up about her own struggles.
She revealed that she quit selling secondhand clothes because when people meet her in the streets they say she has money and yet she can’t tell them she is broke.
“I stopped selling bags in town I quit mambo tuu mob. Kazi mi mingi, mashughuli zimekuwa mingi,” Ngesh said.
