Days after publicly announcing her separation from Jared Nevaton, the father of her child, TV anchor Lilian Muli was spotted spending time with her ex-husband, Moses Njuguna Kanene back in the day leaving netizens shocked what was going on in her life.
Lilian, who referred to Shabana FC chairperson and the father of her second son as a ‘community husband,’ shared a photo of herself hanging out with Kanene and their son, Josh.
“Sunshine even on rainy days. With Kanene and Josh,” the controversial anchor captioned the picture.
On January 7, 2016, Lilian filed for divorce from Kanene at the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Milimani, Nairobi, citing “adultery, cruelty, and desertion” as the grounds for ending their marriage.
In divorce case No. 19 of 2016, Lilian claimed that her ex-husband had been unfaithful, having cheated on her with multiple women before abandoning her.
After their divorce, a video of Lilian engaging in a verbal altercation with a waitress went viral.
She later attributed the incident to excessive drinking, which she had turned to as a result of the stress caused by the divorce.
“I started drinking heavily after separating from Josh’s dad. I had moved away from Karen, started a new life with Josh, but after three years, I realized that I was actually alone and trying to pretend that everything was okay, all while maintaining a polished image on TV,” Lilian narrated the effects of her stress were causing her.
Two years after divorcing Mr. Kanene, Lilian became pregnant for Nevaton.
The past is behind them, and it seems that Lilian Muli and Jared are still deeply in love and stronger than ever.
Via Instagram, Lilian Muli has celebrated Mr Jared on Father’s Day after trending on Twitter over a fake story about her looking for love in young and broke men.
“Happy Fathers’ Day to this good man. You are Loved by us. I celebrate you today for being a good man and an even better father,” she wrote sharing a photo besides him.
