Renown female actress Catherine Kamau Alias Kate actress has gotten herself a luxurious car gift.
The mother of two proudly shared her achievement on Insta stories, revealing that she went for a Mercedes GLC.
“#Biggirlpurchase #MercedesGLC,” she captioned a video of the sleek white car. In the video, Kate showcased the exterior and interior of the new ride.
Her friends and fans have congratulated her for the big step with Jackie Matubia saying, ” When a new baby is added. Congratulations my love @kateactress winning circle. The three star baby.”
The achievement comes approximately 2 months after her ex husband Philip Karanja revealed that he had sold the BMW X3 that he bought her as a push gift after the birth of their daughter.
“I love cars a lot, and so I was young and foolish, and I spent so much on my car, and it has been a very expensive journey to maintain. I am like, that is a car I would have used wisely somewhere. I sold it. I have decided to go back on Uber,” he said in an interview sparking reactions among Kenyans.
Following the uproar, Phil later clarified that the decision to sell the car was mutual.
“I wish to officially document that the vehicle was sold with mutual consent, and there are no disputes with Kate, contrary to any portrayals suggesting otherwise,” he said on Instagram.
Kate also came out to clarify the controversies on the matter.
“Kindly redirect that energy to watching the new season of Becoming CEO. We ain’t about that life poleni and thank you,” she said.
