Kamene Goro Reveals Biggest Lessons She Learnt In Marriage 9 Months After Her Wedding

Kamene Goro seduced DJ Bonez and ultimately married him in a low key wedding in April 2023.

The former Kiss FM presenter offered insight into her marriage while interacting with her fans during a recent Questions and Answers (Q&A) session.

In an interactive session, Kamene noted that despite the many manuals to get ready for a union, there is nothing that can prepare one for it.

“How is marriage life, my big sister?” a fan asked.

Kamene responded noting for her it has been a learning process.

“It’s a learning experience, nothing can prepare you for it. You take it a day at a time and you learn the lessons that are supposed to be learnt,” she stated.

Another fan asked her about the biggest lessons about marriage she has learnt so far.

Kamene responded that she has learnt that companionship is what matters in marriage.

“The biggest take home is to get married to someone whom you can be friends with. Love can die out a lot of time or even eventually. It’s the companionship that matters. Some situations will require more than just love. You will require someone to be there for you. Marry your friend,” Kamene said.

Kamene and DJ Bonez shared their love story while speaking in a session on their YouTube channel with Obinna in July 2023.

The duo met for the first time in 2016 shortly after Kamene returned from Tanzania after divorcing her ex-husband.

Kamene and Bonez admitted that their chemistry did not hit it off immediately.

DJ Bonez confessed that he held a preconceived notion about Kamene as he associated her with controversial radio personality Andrew Kibe.

He admitted that he used to view Kamene as being a very ratchet person.

However, he clarified that his opinion of her gradually changed over time.

Kamene also admitted that she was the one who initially pursued Bonez, despite him being unsure about starting a romantic relationship.
