Budalangi MP Raphael Wanjala must have drunk ‘mkorogo’ because his bleach job is not as good as Vera Sidika’s, there are still patches of black his knuckles.
Wanjala was as dark as charcoal years ago when he was making headlines for all the wrong reasons together with his ex lover Joyce Akinyi.
The Budalangi MP and Akinyi have had several brushes with the law over allegations of drug trafficking and money laundering.
Raphael Wanjala bleached himself years ago after recapturing his Budalangi seat in 2017 that he had lost to Ababu Namwamba.
Comedienne Zeddy took a shot at the Budalangi MP for bleaching himself while commenting on a Facebook post. She likened the MP to socialite Vera Sidika owing to his light skin complexion.
The comedienne pointed out that Wanjala looked so light and that she suspected he was using skin lightening oils. She used the opportunity to advise old men to stop applying skin lightening oils.
“Old men should stop applying women’s oil. Now look at this one looking like Vera,” Zeddy commented.
Vera decided to spend a whopping Ksh50 million to bleach her entire body in 2014. The socialite caused a stir when she was first seen in public after her bleach job, her skin tone mirrored that of late king of pop Michael Jackson.
Speaking during an interview on NTV with Larry Madowo on 6th June 2014, Vera spoke openly about the skin lightening treatment she had just undergone.
The bootyful socialite said she bleached her entire body because looking good is what earned her money.
“Looking good is my business. My body is my business, nobody else’s but mine,” Vera Sidika said.
Vera had the skin lightening procedure done in the UK and suggested it cost somewhere in the region of Ksh15 million.
The bleached socialite told Madowo that she had already seen an increase in demand for her services after she underwent the skin lightening procedure.
