It is barely a week into the third month of the year and some of the Kenyan celebrities have already made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Here are some of the influential personalities who have found themselves in deep controversies.

Tyler Mbaya aka Baha
Baha is the latest celebrity to face disgrace publicly. This after his alleged nude video was leaked on telegram. The former Machachari actor is allegedly seen masturbating in the clip.

This has seen him being criticized but there are a few individuals who have come out to defend him encouraging him to be strong.

Baha also took to his Insta stories to share a message, amid the controversy.

“ Between 25 and 30, a man faces his hardest battles, not with the world but with himself. You realize mistakes you’ve repeated for years for years and start breaking each cycle, one by one. This is the age where men either transform into kings or remain slaves to their past,” he said.

His controversy comes after that of his ex Georgina Njenga, who had her naked video leaked two years ago.

Azziad
The influencer and radio presenter is just bouncing back after experiencing tough weeks from January. While announcinmg that she is back, Azziad said she will be going on air at SoundCity Radio for the mid morning show. She also has another event lined up for the weekend.

For weeks, Azziad maintained a low profile while in Germany. This is after she was accused of borrowing large sums of money and failed to keep the promise of returning the said money.

An audio of her requesting the money was leaked, coupled up with TikTokers Mary Musyoka and Hannah Benta exposing her for owing them money.

Khalif Kairo
The youthful entrepreneur and car dealer has also had a tough 2025. Kairo found himself in a legal battle that saw him face a series of arrests.

This is after he failed to deliver a car that a client had a purchased and paid the full amount. As his legal battles heated, it emerged that he was no longer with his partner Wavinya, who he had earlier revealed that they had gotten married just within four months of knowing each other.

Just when it was thought that things were finally calming on his side, his former business partner came out to accuse him of wrecking his marriage.

The Wajesus Family

The popular YouTube couple has also been at the center of controversy this year. This is after they recorded and shared an explicit video when they were delivering their thirdborn.

Brian Chira’s Grand mother
The elderly woman, who is nowadays an active TikToker, found herself on the receiving end, when she demanded that she wants a new home and was planning to sell the house which Kenyans build her after the death of Brian Chira.
The woman, popularly known as Shosho wa Chira, said that she wanted to move out of the plcae because of security reasons.

Many accused her of wanting to take advantage of Kenyan’s generosity and feeling entitled to being helped.
