Samidoh is a well established musician, an accomplished police officer and on top of that he is currently pursuing a degree.
In an interview with a local digital media, Samidoh revealed that he is undertaking a Bachelors degree in Business with IT and will graduate in two months time.
“Am in school already. I will be graduating this June. Nimefanya Bachelor of Business and IT (BBIT) from JKUAT,” the Mugithi singer revealed.
Asked on why he would go back to school with the achievements he already has, Samidoh said, “Masomo ndio inafunga ile gap ya tajiri na maskini hio ndio bridge ya kufika pale.”
“I began that course with a diploma from Kenya Polytechnic sasa ndio namalizia. I was a bright student nikiwa pale primary school nikakosa school fees so there is what is called self actualization,” he went on to explain.
The father of five plans to proceed to masters and even higher qualifications after his undergraduate studies.
“Aim goal nifanye PhD,” he said adding that in high school he was an above average student.

In the same interview with SPM Buzz, he also explained how he is able to balance between his music career and being a police officer.
“Nafanya kazi kutoka Monday to Thursday. Tunapatana na nyinyi Friday mpaka Sunday. I am attached to the National Police Commission headquarters iko pale Westlands,” he said.
“I have a very understanding boss. Anajua niko na talent na anataka kusupport talent yangu. Wakati naomba ruhusa ya kutoka nje ama kuenda gigs zangu sijawahi lipwa. I have a very understanding boss and I thank God. Namshukuru sana mahali alipo Mungu amubless sana,” he further explained.
