Social Media influencer Brian Chira has recently sparked controversy with his public expressions of interest in Kenyan comedian Mulamwah.
Chira, known for his presence on platforms like TikTok, shared a photo of the comedian on social media with the caption, “Me Nakutaka,” accompanied by several love emojis.
This unexpected display of affection comes shortly after an incident where Mulamwah refused to take a photo with Chira, leading to frustration and subsequent online rants from the influencer.
The encounter between Chira and Mulamwah took place at The National Theatre, where Mulamwah made an appearance. Chira approached the comedian for a picture, but his request was turned down.
According to Chira, Mulamwah explained that he didn’t want to be seen with him due to Chira’s scandalous reputation. This rejection infuriated Brian Chira, prompting him to vent his frustrations during live sessions on TikTok.
He expressed his disappointment with Mulamwah’s behavior and reminded him that he still has a long way to go in his career.
In an interview with Mungai Eve, Mulamwah shed light on his reasons for refusing to take a selfie with the popular TikToker. Mulamwah stated that people like Chira often forget that their actions on social media have lasting consequences, shaping their real-life reputations.
He emphasized that he cannot associate with individuals who engage in obscene behavior on platforms like TikTok.
Mulamwah urged the young generation on TikTok to learn from their mistakes and ensure that their newfound fame contributes positively to society. He added that he would be open to collaborating with Chira once he rectifies his behavior.
This is not the first time Brian Chira has expressed unconventional interest in public figures. In March this year, Chira openly expressed his admiration for media personality Andrew Kibe.
He shared a TikTok video praising Kibe’s looks and expressing a desire for an intimate encounter with him.
Chira clarified that he is not gay but has had a longstanding crush on Kibe revealing the former NRG radio and KISS 100FM radio presenter is his hero.
