Zari Hassan has been dealing with age shamers ever since she introduced her younger lover identified as Shakib Cham.

Zari was seen sitting on a young man’s lap while partying at Kidimbwi beach. The Ugandan socialite raised eyebrows as she was also seen erotically grinding on the man.
The 41-year-old was in the company of the young man for the entire time she partied at the beach in Dar.
The mother of five on June 16, 2022 announced she is married to her young lover moments after she touched down in Tanzania.
Speaking to the press while headlining a function organized by Softcare, Zari revealed that she was officially married to her young lover.
“Huyu ni mume wangu, ni mume wangu. Case close,” Zari said.
Zari has been trolled countless time for dating Shakib Cham whom critics say is too young for her.
The mother of four recently talked about her lover’s age while responding to online trolls.
Zari claimed that her sweetheart is not young as people think. She further questioned why the society sees no fault in old men marrying/dating young women but stigmatizes old women who date/marry young men.
“He’s not young. He does look young. I am literally turning 42 this year, but you wouldn’t tell. Unless if you know me. Some of us had babies when we were young and we started growing with our kids. Why is it okay when men date younger girls, it is okay?” Zari wrote.
