Zari told her fans that she couldn’t share her wedding photos and videos because of the ban.
The 43-year-old mother of five got married to 31-year-old Shakib Cham Lutaaya in a colourful white wedding held on October 3, 2023.
The wedding was a low-key affair as invites were only sent to close family members and friends.
Only grainy videos and photos of the event were leaked online and her fans wanted to know why she didn’t publicize the wedding.
Speaking to Ugandan press, Zari explained that she and other people can’t shared photos and videos of her wedding because she is bound by a contract.
The mother of five revealed that she sold exclusive rights for her wedding to Netflix will determine when to air it.
Zari noted that Netflix will air her wedding on the next season of reality TV series Young, Famous And African.
“Shakib and I had our wedding in South Africa, and we sold the exclusive rights to Netflix for their upcoming show, ‘The Young Famous and African’. Those who want to know what happened should wait for the new season,” Zari said.
