Willy Paul Opens Up On Why He Is Avoiding Marriage Like Problems

In a candid discussion on the Hey Girl Podcast, Willy Paul shared his reluctance toward marriage, revealing how trust issues have deeply impacted his outlook on relationships.

Known for his passionate and often controversial lyrics, the artist provided a rare glimpse into his personal life, discussing why he has chosen to remain unmarried despite being a father.

The singer opened up about his fears, describing how investing in a relationship can turn painful if trust is broken.

“Let’s assume you’re my girlfriend, I trust you… most of the time I’m like babe nakupenda, nataka tuende far na ninataka tuwe na watoto,” he explained.

However, he noted that all too often, a seemingly committed partner may have another relationship on the side, leading to betrayal that can be devastating.

“Wewe una mbaba mahali na mimi sijui lakini nakutrust…” Willy Paul continued, painting a picture of the trust issues that haunt his view of commitment.

The musician also expressed concerns over the physical and emotional risks of unfaithful relationships, noting that trust issues could result in exposure to sexually transmitted infections.

“Na kwa sababu ya trust nimekupea na huna adabu… that thing is bad. Kwanza najua cancer na AIDs having no cure,” he said, stressing the serious consequences that can arise when trust is broken in such intimate ways.

Despite his hesitations toward marriage, Willy Paul remains a devoted father to his daughter, whom he shares with a former girlfriend.

Though he has no immediate plans to marry, he continues to be open about his hopes and fears when it comes to love and relationships.
