With Bamboo’s enchanting rap skills and the Kleptomaniax’s irresistible beats and vibe, pressure to be the best at one time almost ended up in a fist fight. 
Madtraxx reveals the incident that happened years ago was as a result of Bamboo dissing Kleptomaniax and their Kapuka sound.
The legendary rapper saw Nyashinski and everyone else who did such music as not worthy of the attention they were receiving.
While on Capital FM live, Madtraxx narrates how they had to save Bamboo from the angry crew of Nyashinski, Collo, Robba and their friends.
He says the group left Madaraka estate and went to silence Bamboo as he spoke trash about Kapuka in Nairobi’s CBD where the station studios are located.
At the time, there was a lot of beef between artists with each claiming to be better and supreme. Madtraxx who was playing in his brother’s DJ unit remembers that day like it was yesterday.
As East Coast and West Coast beef reigned supreme in the US, in Nairobi, a new chapter unfolded, as Abbas and Bamboo faced off against the Kapuka masters, which Kleptomaniax did.
Abass Kubaff and Bamboo teamed to form K-South purposely to destroy Kapuka and kick the sound off airwaves.
In this clash of titans, hip-hop die-hards Abbas and Bamboo faced off against the Kapuka singers and rappers, creating an epic battle of creativity and competition.
Their music resonated with the masses, each side vying for the crown of musical supremacy. Hit songs “Tuelendee ama tusiendelee” by Klepto and “Kapuka this Kapuka that” by K-South were birthed in that era.
Madtraxx was part of DJ Stylez’s, Code Red DJs that used to mix on Capital FM.
