Amber Ray fled her matrimonial home lamenting beatings from Rapudo but now she is back.
Kennedy Rapudo implied all was well between Amber Ray and him as he celebrated his baby mama on her birthday.
The voluptuous mother of two marked her birthday on Friday, November 3, 2023, and the city tycoon was among those who joined her in marking the milestone.
In a post seen by Kenyareports.com, Rapudo told Amber Ray that meeting her was the best thing that had ever happened to his life.
He further told his baby mama to have the time of her life in her birthday while popping champagnes, and later send him the bill.
“When the universe brought us together, it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Wishing you the most wonderful birthday yet. Happy birthday mama @africanahrapudo 🎂 🎊 🎁. Pop champagne 🍾🍾 watumie tajiri bill,” Kennedy Rapudo wrote.
October 13, 2023, Amber Ray announced the end of her marriage to Kennedy Rapudo while hinting that she had been physically assaulted.
Amber Ray indicated that Rapudo had been violent to her for a while and she had just gotten sick tired of the toxic marriage.
“I have been in that environment for a while now, and my peace and safety have made it impossible for me to stay. The bruises and scars go beyond the physical, and for my own sake, I have to choose me,” Amber Ray wrote.
“Knowing too well about how society keeps its mouth shut on domestic violence, I won’t use my platform to sing the same song over and over again. I choose to lead with compassion, because in the end, it hurts. It hurts to have your trust shattered in ways you cannot express in words. But it hurts even more being a silent observer in your own life……” she added.
Rapudo on October 16, 2023, however, downplayed Amber Ray’s claim that she had endured domestic violence in their marriage for a while.
Amber Ray’s baby daddy claimed that he had only assaulted her once when they were both drunk.
Rapudo expressed regret for his action, stressing that it was one single isolated incident and that he has never advocated for domestic violence since he is raising two girls.
