Mulamwah’s wife Ruth K has often been subjected to criticism on social media because of the gap on her upper.
From time to time, many have urged the comedian to take Ruth to a dentist so that the gap can be filled.
Responding to the pressure, Mulamwah previously said that Ruth did not encounter any accident leading to the gap as she was was born that way. He added that Ruth was comfortable with her dental formation and that is why she had not considered filling the gap.
Ruth however made a U-turn recently on her stand and visited a dentist so as to fill the gap. In the process she was able to discover the reason behind it.
“I wasn’t sure enough if I was ready for the procedure. I visited the dentist very early at 8am so that he would check up on me and advise what I should do. We first did X-ray to see how my teeth were and what would come next.
“I used to be okay with the gap. After X-ray I discovered things were not as I thought. So, my tooth, which was supposed to fill this gap grew but there was something like a growth that made it not come out of the gum,” she explained.
Her dentist advised for a minor surgery to remove the tooth with stunted growth before she undergoes the filling procedure 6 weeks later.
Ruth has since done the surgery and will be going back to the dentist to have her missing tooth replaced.
“So get used to me with my gap while it last. I will be smiling for all the years I haven’t smiled,” the excited mother of one said.
