She’s Single And Worth Ksh36 Million: Everything You Need To Know About Sakaja’s CEC Nominee Suzanne Silantoi

Suzanne Silantoi Lengewa has been making headlines ever since she was vetted following her appointment as Nairobi County Executive Committee (CEC).

Silantoi appeared before the County Assembly’s Select Committee on Appointment on Monday, December 5, 2022, for vetting.

Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja appointed Silantoi as CEC for Inclusivity, Public Participation and Customer Service.

The docket was introduced by the Nairobi governor to improve the relationship between his administration and county residents as well as traders, and investors.

During vetting, the 29-year-old told the panel that she is worth a staggering Ksh36 million.

She said that her net worth is shared with the family, which includes the ancestral lands in Samburu County.

Silantoi also disclosed that she was single.

“I come from a family of just one sibling, and I’m single,” she said.

At one point, Silantoi was surprised when one of the committee members Moses Nyangaresi Ogeto (MCA Kilimani) who asked her if she was looking for a party.

“Actually I don’t see what that has to do with my docket,”  Silantoi said.

But it’s not the first time Silantoi is making headlines. She dominated the headlines back in the 2017 general election when she became the youngest Senate candidate for Nairobi.

At 23 years, Silantoi wanted to represent the Nairobi County residents in the Senate but she lost to her would-be boss Sakaja.

After the 2017 elections, Silantoi went silent and was hardly seen in public spaces, and neither did she run for any seat in the 2022 general election.
