Akothee got emotional as she opened up on the wrangles between her and her family.
Speaking to Presenter Ali after arriving in the country, the mother of five recounted how she has supported her family to ensure that they were all stable.
“Its quite a bit deep, very deep. My dad is my number one fan he loves me to death he would come to all my events and I’ve supported my family, I came into fame, my family never knew where I was what I was doing and after supporting them I think almost all of them if I would print out my bank statements today all my family members have smiled all the way to the bank and you know when someone gives you a cheque, it’s no Mpesa 10,000, 20,000, 30,000,” Akothee said.
She also opened up on the troubles between her and her sister Cebbie Koks saying that she is the one who is always crossing her line.
Akothee said that she has waited for her to apologize for wronging her but she has never done so.
The fact that they have didn’t sought out their differences saw her miss out on her wedding in December last year. She however sponsored her children to attend the event.
“When we announced our wedding my younger sister was having her wedding as well. Omosh wanted to bring cows in December and I told him we are having another wedding in December That time we were having wrangles with my sister and she is the one who is always crossing and I have always been waiting for her to come and apologize which never happened. There is no way I could bring myself into a table where I am not invited and the fact that she one time called me and told me she wants me to come to her wedding but we did not clear our baggage so we never gotten closer,” Akothee said
“I was waiting for my sister to come and say our indifferences back, I am sorry, the only word I was waiting foe her to realize that she really hurt me to the core and all I need is for her to realize that she has hurt me and say sorry it would have ended,” she added.
When she announced her wedding in April, Cebbie allegedly informed her brothers that Akothee was not wedding and was just after spoiling her wedding.
“Remember we are not marrying the same man not even the same village so how was me announcing my wedding in April would affect your wedding that was happening in December?” she posed.
Due to that, her family viewed her as a bad person yet she had been the unifying factor of the family.
