Nigerian American actor Olurotimi Akinosho alias Rotimi and his Tanzanian wife Vanessa Mdee have been blessed with their second baby.
Rotimi announced she was taking Vanessa to hospital to give birth in a post on social media on Wednesday March 1, 2023.
“To Think 9 Months Of This Journey All Comes To This Very Moment ! 🙏🏽 On Our Way To The Hospital Everyone 🥰We’re Nervous But Excited … We’re Calm But Hype … All Of This Blended Into This One AMAZING Emotion Of LOVE ! 😮 SHE’S COMING – @rotimi @vanessamdee,” Rotimi wrote.

Rotimi further gave an update that their daughter was just about to be born. He wrote; “Nervous but excited. She is coming.”
Hours later, Rotimi confirmed that Vanessa had successfully given birth to their daughter. He thanked God for the safe delivery.
The celebrity couple early in November 2022 announced that they were expecting their second child together.
“We’re excited to announce that our baby girl is on the way. What a beautiful testament to GOD’s favor. We are overjoyed,” the couple told People.
The couple is already parents to son Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho, whom they welcomed in September 2021.
Rotimi wants to have more children with his Tanzanian wife.
Speaking in a video posted on his Instagram page, Rotimi admitted that being an only child in their family made him want to have more children.
“So I want my son to have someone he can rely on, who looks after him,” he explained.
“They know they will be there for her. When my daughter looks to her right, she knows she has an older brother who is going through the same thing at the same age,” he added.
Rotimi further stated that he did not want to wait too long to have children.
“You know I didn’t want the gap of six, seven years where they are basically just children, so I wanted them to be very close in age and Vanessa understood and she wanted the same thing. I felt that I had that partner,” he said.
