The chairman of gospel music has come out to address allegations that his lavish lifestyle is being funded by a wealthy white sugar mummy, popularly known as Mumama among Kenyans.
Former presidential aspirant Cassypool is responsible for the allegations and he also claimed that Ringtone doesn’t stay in Runda as he claims.
“Ringtone anaishi Wanyee kwa plot ya mama mmoja anaitwa mama Githinji. Ringtone akitoka town anaenda ni kama anaenda Runda anapiga bypass anaenda huko anavaa hoody. Ringtone anaishi Wanyee kwenye njia ya kuenda Waithaka. Mama Githinji ana mtoto anaitwa Muthoni, Muthoni anasoma na dada yangu mdogo ndio kanaimbia mbona huyu jamaa huwa twamwona kwa plot yetu, za ndani Babu,” Cassypool claimed in an interview a few weeks ago.
On Tuesday night, Ringtone however confronted Cassypool live on camera accusing him of defamation.

The agitated musician was ready to beat the hell out of Cassypool but comedian YY and those who were present intervened.
“Mi ni yatima, huwezi niharibia jina. Mi naishi Wanyee?” Ringtone shouted at Cassypool.
Addressing Content creators Ringtone however rubbished allegations of having a Mumama. At the same time, he maintained that he lives in Runda, and he had worked hard for it.
“Kwanini mtu anashinda anasema mimi naishi Wanyee ati kuna mzungu ameniweka. Mimi ni yatima nimeng’ang’ana kuishi Runda. Aniheshimu mimi ni chairman. Mimi nimeokoka lakini kuna wakati… Yesu… mapepo ingine inapigwa. Kama si wewe ningepiga huyu jamaa na hio mapepo yake,” he said before driving off.
Ringtone poses as one of the country’s richest musician. He flaunts online his expensive outfits and the cars he drives. In a previous interview, he was tasked to explain the source of his wealth.
“You want to say the Government of Kenya is not working? That I would break the law and I am not arrested? Those are just jealous people who do not want to use their heads. I am an artist who uses his brain. Jalas I met you 10 years ago when I used to tour 10 schools per week. Every school I would go [to] I got more than Sh500,000. Those are the people that gave me the money,” Ringtone said.
