Tanzanian singer Mbosso recently shed light on his less-than-cordial relationship with Kenyan musician Otile Brown.
In an exclusive interview with Wasafi Media, Mbosso openly addressed the ongoing tension between him and Otile Brown.
He claimed not to have any ill feelings toward any artist and explained his approach to conflict by saying, “I am one person that if you have a problem with me, I will leave. You will find yourself alone.”
Mbosso went on to discuss the particular incident that sparked the friction between him and Otile Brown.
“There’s a time he said we stole his song.”
He also highlighted a separate disagreement with Otile Brown related to a collaboration request.
Mbosso says, “We have not been friends, but I remember he contacted me for a collabo, and I directed him to my management. He failed to go through the process. I am an artist; I am under a management, so if you want to work with me, you have to go through the process.”
Otile Brown hasn’t limited his commentary to just music-related matters.
In a previous social media post published on Kenyareports.com, he insinuated that fellow Bongo artists Diamond Platnumz and Mbosso might have purchased counterfeit jewelry, stating, “With love, punguzeni mabati kwenye shingo or you keep quiet, mnachokesha. Hao ni watu gani mnannunua chain kwao.”
He continued, “Tuelewane, y’all can’t be talking rich all the time and still rocking fugazii, inspire game, ujanja wa nini, and y’all ‘blessed.’ Chain baada ya miezi kaghaa huioni tena maana imeshika kutu.”
Otile Brown made headlines recently when he announced his intention to release an album in 2024.
He declared, “I got too much game on my upcoming album, real life experiences.”
With high aspirations, he added, “It has to make it to at least the top three best albums in Africa, just to be fair, or else I’m quitting music.”
