The cast boasted of being multi-millionaires but their pay didn’t befit their said status.
Considering how rich the Real Housewives of Nairobi cast boasted to be, their pay was just pocket change if they are as wealthy as they claimed.
As the first season of The Real Housewives of Nairobi finally wraps up with a reunion after 12 weeks of drama, fashion, events, and friendship ebb and flow, two big questions remain unanswered among the show’s viewers.
The biggest questions were how much the cast was paid and if indeed The Real Housewives of Nairobi would be renewed for a second season.
A source revealed that the cast were each paid Ksh750,000 for their roles on the first season.
“I heard that each housewife was paid Ksh750,000, this is highly confidential information. Was it a good deal or a bad deal? I can’t tell you because it depends on the individual, but I can tell you that the figures are accurate,” the source intimated.
The show’s producers and the cast can’t publicly reveal the figures due to non-disclosure agreements between both parties.
The payment came as a shock to many given that cast regularly boasted how rich they are, some instance blowing an upward of a million bucks a day.
Maybe they just wanted the fame not the money.
As for the show being renewed for season two, the producers exuded confidence that The Real Housewives of Nairobi will be back.
