Betty Kyallo threw a lavish birthday for Ivanna as she turned 9 even as Okari skipped the event.
The event that took place on Sunday June 25, 2023, was graced by the former journalist’s close friends like Aeedah Bambi, and also family members including her mother, and her sisters Mercy Kyallo and Gloria Kyallo.
According to the photos and videos that were shared online by some of those who attended, it was clear that Ivanna’s party had the theme of pink and purple.
Ivanna’s father Dennis Okari was not seen in any of the photos that were shared on social media.
Okari has missed most of Ivanna’s birthday parties. The veteran journalist, however, attended his daughter’s sixth birthday party in June 2020.
Okari and Betty dated for about six years and were blessed with their daughter Ivanna before they got married.
The two decided to tie the knot shortly after Ivanna’s birth, they exchanged vows in a colorful wedding held on October 2nd 2015.
However, Betty and Okari went their separate ways just six months after their wedding, infidelity was reportedly the cause of their breakup.
Betty cheated with Hassan Joho and when her ex husband Okari found out he divorced her immediately.
After her marriage crumbled around April 2016, Betty and Joho got into a serious relationship as Okari also moved on.
Okari remarried in February 2019, he tied the knot with Joy Naomi in an invite-only ceremony held at a location on Kiambu Road.
Betty and Okari have been co-parenting since their marriage hit rock bottom.
