Nonini has denounced his support for William Ruto days after Huddah Monroe dismissed the president as the worst leader Kenya has ever had.
The US-based rapper, who made Ksh119,570 from betting on Ruto winning the presidency, has now apologised to Kenyans for supporting him during the electioneering period last year.
Nonini took to social media to publicly issue an apology saying he didn’t know things would get this bad when he supported Ruto.
“Looking back at how our country is going a year down the line with this government. I want to share my APOLOGY loudly to KENYANs for supporting this government and some leaders you know I did,” Nonini said.
He added: “It takes a strong person to admit they were wrong and niko ready for any matusi hapo kwa comments but at least niko bold enough ku admit mambo Kenya sio poa and some of our leaders have failed us terribly. Poleni Sana wakenya wenzangu.”

Nonini withdrawal of his support for Ruto comes just days after Huddah Monroe bitter complained about Ruto’s presidency.
The socialite took to social media on Sunday, September 17, 2023, to slam president William Ruto’s government as things get tough in Kenya.
Huddah withdrew her support for Ruto just days after fuel prices in Kenya reached historic high – with a litre of petrol in the capital Nairobi retailing at Ksh211.64, while diesel cost Ksh200.99 and kerosene Ksh202.61.
Ruto’s administrations has also proposed a plethora of punitive taxes and already implemented some that are hitting Kenyans hard.
In a series of Insta stories, Huddah unapologetically ranked Ruto as the worst president Kenya has ever had, even suggesting that the worst was yet to come.
