Nicola Traldi is fighting in court to prove his innocence after he was arrested and charged with assaulting Eric Omondi’s ex Chantal Grazioli.
Traldi was arrested days after Eric Omondi urged him to present himself to police for assaulting his ex.
The suspect was arrested and locked up at Thindigwa Police Station even though he argued his innocence. 
On June 21, Nicola took a plea at the Kiambu law court, where he denied charges of causing grievous harm to Chantal.
Chantal recorded a statement on June 17 saying that Nicola Traldi beat her with a rungu on the left leg and it was broken.
Appearing before Kiambu court on July 13, Traldi asked the court to allow re-examination of Chantal who claimed that he assaulted her and broke her leg.
Traldi strongly denies ever laying a finger on Chantal, claiming that he is being framed for something he didn’t do.
