Edday Nderitu, the estranged wife of renowned Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, publicly confirmed their separation in July 2023.
The announcement came via a statement issued by Edday on a Saturday, where she revealed that she chose to leave her husband for the sake of her children and to escape what she described as a toxic environment.
Contrary to rumors circulating online, Edday clarified that she was not part of a polygamous marriage and asserted that she departed from the relationship for the benefit of whoever needed Samidoh more.
