Nadia Mukami Beats Zuchu To Be Crowned Queen Of East Africa Music

Nadia Mukami beat off fierce competition from Zuchu at the AFRIMMA award to be named best female musician in East Africa.

The Kenyan singer was among a handful of African musicians who won big at the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMAs) held in Dallas, Texas, US on Sunday 17 September.

Mukami had been pitted against eight music rivals in the Best Female East Africa category.

Zuchu was highly anticipate to win in the category but Nadia Mukami pulled a late surprise to carry the day.

Nadia couldn’t hide her joy after being crowned Best Female musician at the Afrimma awards.

The Kenyan singer took to social media to express her joy and thank her fans for the support.

“BEST FEMALE ARTIST EAST AFRICA @afrimma 2023!! WE WOOOON🇰🇪 Thank you @afrimma,” Nadia Mukami wrote.
