Lulu and Rashid, who produced TV series like Maria, Sultana, Zora have secured Mbosso for a major TV show.
The Citizen TV couple ventured into film production as their side hustle even as they continue working at Royal Media Services (RMS).
Their production house, Jiffy Pictures, has earned recognition for creating remarkable programs for local TV stations and on-demand streaming platforms such as MultiChoice’s DStv and Showmax.
Their portfolio includes other hit series like ‘Maria,’, ‘Sultana’, ‘Zora’, on Citizen TV, ‘Moyo’, ‘Aziza’, and ‘Huba’ on Maisha Magic Bongo, ‘Kovu’ on Showmax, and ‘Maza’ on Maisha Magic East.
Lulu and Rashid flew in Bongo singer Mbosso to perform at the Rashid Abdalla Super Cup finals in Kwale County.
Speaking at the event, Mbosso expressed optimism of featuring in Lulu and Rashid’s film projects.
Mbosso emphasised that his passion for acting is evident in his music videos, where he consistently incorporates various styles, showcasing his acting abilities.
“Ashalimaliza hilo, mtaniona soon. Mimi napenda sana kufanya filamu hata ukichunguza video zangu nyingi ninazoshoot napendaga sana kujaribu vitu tofauti, najaribu sana kuwa actor mara nyingi atleast watu waone upande wangu wa pili kuwa naeza imba na pia kuigiza,” Mbosso said.
