“Samidoh ni baba ya watoto wangu, nampenda sana!” Karen Nyamu speaks highly of Samidoh.
In a recent interview at Radio 47, Senator Karen Nyamu addressed the criticism she has faced for her public support of her partner, Samidoh, both within Kenya and during their international travels. Karen opened up about her deep affection for Samidoh and clarified the nature of their relationship, shedding light on their recent trip to Australia and their plans.
Karen Nyamu, a well-known political figure in Kenya, has often made headlines for her PDAs and support for her partner, Samidoh, a renowned Kenyan artist and police officer.
Critics have not shied away from questioning Nyamu’s dedication, accusing her of following Samidoh wherever he goes, whether within or outside the country.
However, during her the radio 47 interview, Nyamu firmly defended her actions, emphasizing the love and admiration she holds for Samidoh. “Samidoh is a father to my children, he is a great artist in Kenya, why should I not be his number one fan?” Nyamu declared. “I really like that guy; he can really do it. He has talent, a good spirit, and is very kind. He loved me, and I was able to love him,” she added with a sense of pride.
Nyamu clarified that their visit to Australia was not simply a matter of following Samidoh, but rather a carefully planned trip that had been in the works for quite some time.
“It is not true that I follow him everywhere he goes,” she says.
“This year, he toured Europe for a whole month, I wasn’t there. He was in China, I wasn’t. So, what’s wrong if we go with him to Australia? Why am I wrong?” Nyamu questioned.
“Again, that is something we had planned for a long time. It’s not because he was there that I followed him. It’s something we arranged, and the visas were available at the same time. That was also the time when I got a chance,” she explained.
Samidoh’s legal wife Edday Nderitu relocated to America with her kids. Reports reveal she has found a job, house and the children have already enrolled in school, meaning one thing, she’s not coming back to Kenya anytime soon.
Edday claimed she had to leave and move to the US, for the sake of her kids and also her mental health.
