Karen Nyamu, known for her openness on social media, has taken to Facebook to address fans’ comments suggesting that Samidoh, the renowned Mugithi artist, is allegedly spending time with his first wife, Edday Nderitu, in the United States.
Responding to a fan’s inquiry on one of her recent posts, Nyamu clarified that Samidoh’s trip to the US was solely to spend time with his children. She reassured fans that there would be no complications if Samidoh chose to reconcile with his first wife, Edday Nderitu.
“Samidoh visited the US to see his children. If Edday Nderitu decides to come back, it’s okay. We’ve shared Samidoh for many years peacefully; she will never be an issue,” Karen Nyamu says.
Edday Nderitu on her part says she can’t share a man. In a recent Facebook post, Edday expressed her willingness to engage in co-parenting with Samidoh but made it clear that she would not entertain the idea of polygamy.
Edday reaffirmed her stance, emphasizing that she was serious in her decision and had no inclination towards entering into a polygamous relationship with Samidoh.
“I stick to my word. Sharing, that will not happen,” she says after netizens told her to stick to her promise.
Karen loves Samidoh more than life itself. To fans hoping it ends in tears she says, “Kwani sisi tumewachana? nyi mnaeza ona vile mnaona tu but me naona a loving dad who takes his role as a dad seriously. Our babies are lucky!”
