Kamene Goro said she learned Kwambox would replace her at Kiss FM after someone gave her a leak.
Speaking minutes after hosting her last show at Kiss FM on January 27, 2023, Kamene praised her replacement Sheila Kwamboka alias Kwambox saying that she is equally talented.
“Sheila is a great host, and I am sure she will do a great job. I wish her all the best,” Kamene said.
Kamene further noted that news of Kwambox replacing her at Kiss FM did not shock her.
“I wasn’t shocked because I had been told by a friend before the leak happened. We had already finalized everything about my leaving,” she said.
Kamene further talked about her three-year stint at Kiss FM.
“It has been great. I want people to know that radio is not easy as many think. I have grown a lot, and it has taught me a lot about my craft and my brand. To me that has been the most remarkable thing,” she said.
Kamene Goro hosted her last show on Kiss FM on January 27, 2023, after three years of working at the popular radio station.
She joined Kiss FM on June 14, 2019, together with Andrew Kibe having been poached from NRG Radio.
