Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala Masanja couldn’t resist cracking a joke after Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy poured out his heart to her in a recent video.
In a light-hearted twist, Stevo declared his admiration for Kajala and praised her beauty, adding a touch of humor to his heartfelt message.
In a video shared over the weekend, Stevo, who was busy cooking a fish meal, confessed her undying love for Kajala.
“Napika chakula zangu hapa. Lakini nikipika naona tu katoto fulani kanaitwa Kajala,” Stevo said.
He continued to express his love for the Tanzanian actress.
“Kajala, Kajala Kajala, mazee mi nimedata kwako, na tena umenivutia. Kajala tafadhali njoo unipikie, unioshee vyombo, unipangie nyumba,” Stevo said.
The rapper added a playful flair to his affection, referring to Kajala with a series of nicknames and mentioned a cadre of whimsical descriptors like ‘lombolombo’. His unabashed enthusiasm certainly painted a picture of infatuation.
“Mi nakwambia Kajala mtoto wa lombolombo, mtoto kamirigado, mtoto parachichi, mtoto gudaguda, mtoto amebeba ngogingo. Mtoto ako checheche. Mtoto mwah mwah mwah. Kajala mi nakwambia nakupenda,” Stevo said.
Kajala responded to Stevo’s declaration with a playful quip, humorously questioning why he likened her to an avocado.
“Kwa nini parachichi?” She replied humorously, accompanied by laughing face emojis, showing that she took his compliments in stride while adding a bit of her own comedic flair.
While Stevo seems to be embracing the single life after his breakup with Grace Atieno, Kajala’s relationship status remains a bit of a mystery.
She has kept her personal life largely private since her split from pop star Harmonize, with whom she had a brief but charged relationship.
The couple dated for several months before parting ways in December 2022, leaving fans curious about her current romantic prospects.
