Popular Kamba songbird Justina Syokau says that her ex-husband cheated on her with their tailor on the eve of their wedding.
According to her, her ex-husband slept with the tailor who was making suits for their groomsmen.
“On the day before our wedding, I remember we were at the home of our organizers. Our tailor who was based at Ngara disappeared for more than four hours after my groom came to see our practice. He was not coming to see how we sing he came to carry the tailor with him, we now have a child with that woman,” she said in an interview with Kenyans in Diaspora USA.
Justina believed that something was going on between the two since the woman was not picking her calls after leaving with her husband to be.
“I was supposed to cancel the wedding but because everyone was telling me that that was my day I was not supposed to cancel my wedding…if it were today with this brain I have if I see your fishy character even if it is in church I will leave you,” she said.
The 2020 hit maker also said that the man was mean and did not use the wedding contribution as required. She says that he lowered her standards by getting her a hired wedding gown, cheap ring and cheap wedding cake yet there was enough money to hold a lavish wedding.
His ill character went on to their honeymoon in Mombasa that he even failed to satisfy her in bed.
“We went for our honeymoon in Mombasa so that we can have time for to connect but instead he took me to everyone whom he knew in Mombasa. There was no time for me and him. We get to bed when we are tired and its very late,” she said.
At the same time she noted that she did not know her ex well since they did not date and got married only 6 months after meeting. She said that the man approached her wanting a wife and nothing to do with a relationship. Being a Christian she decided to be a wife and obeyed him.
Justina said that in the beginning, her ex husband was a nice guy and never showed her any red flags.
She added that he solely planned the wedding without considering her input.
“I want to tell youths, Murife, run from anybody who tells you they want a wife and not a relationship. You need to relate and know somebody,” she advised.
