In a touching revelation on her YouTube channel, Stephanie Kiuna, the daughter of renowned pastors Kathy Kiuna and the late bishop Allan Kiuna, shared her emotional journey following the passing of her father.
Now residing in Australia with her husband, Ethan, and their two children, she faced difficult questions from fans eager to understand why she was absent from her father’s burial.
Bishop Kiuna passed away on July 9, 2024, after a prolonged battle with cancer, leaving a profound impact on his family and congregation.
He was laid to rest on July 17 in Thindigua, Kiambu County, but to the dismay of many, his daughter Stephanie was not in attendance.
Overcome with emotion, Stephanie took the opportunity to explain her absence during her Q&A session.
“There’s nowhere on God’s green earth I would have rather been than at my dad’s funeral,” she confessed, her voice reflecting the pain of separation.
She elaborated on the frustrating visa complications that hampered her travel plans, stating, “We tried everything, but in the end, it didn’t work.”
Despite the physical distance, Stephanie emphasized the unbreakable bond she shared with her father.
“I didn’t have any issues with him – he completely understood. The relationship we had was more than just being at his funeral, even though I desperately wanted to be there.”

“It’s that time of year again, and the weight of the holiday feels heavier because of the last time we spent together,” she shared softly.
