Jamaican Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel has proposed again to his long term Turkish fiancee Sidem Ozturk.
The singer first proposed to Sidem while he was in jail saying he was sure that he would one day be a free man and they would settle down. He then relocated her from United Kingdom to Jamaica in 2022.
Now he got a chance to propose to her again as a free man.
According to him, Sidem never ceased encouraging him whenever she visited him in prison. He further hoped that their love would last.
“It’s Official #1Wife 💍❤️I Proposed in Prison, Proposed in #RealLife . You were there when I needed you most and I’ll never leave you baby. I cherish all the times you came to visit me and told me that it’s going to be ok. I cherish all the times we spoke on the phone and in real life in the box. We laughed together we cried together and now we celebrate together! You’re my best friend and my companion and I pray to God we stay together for as long as I Live. I Love you baby,” he said.
Kartel and Sidem met in 2015 after she stalked his baby mama to find out where he was imprisoned.
“She actually stalked my babymother’s, one of my babymother’s Instagram cause she couldn’t find me, so she had to watch who my babymom’s was following. So, she found me through my babymom’s Instagram,” the Summer Time hitmaker said.
On the other hand, Sidem in her previous interview revealed that she fell in love with Kartel because of his music and good looks.
“I found him very handsome, so I was very attracted to him and you can kind of call it an obsession cause I thought he was the most perfect man for me and walking the Earth, so I just really wanted to meet him and get to know him,” she said.
