I Used To Believe In Education Over Money- Nadia Mukami

Nadia Mukami says that she never used to wear tight trousers and had no boyfriend while in high school.

The mother of one reminisced about her old days in a throwback post she shared on Instagram.

According to her she had challenges with humanities but subjects like Mathematics were her favorite.

Nadia further said that she believed that in education and not money.

“I was a bookworm when I was in high school. Very skilled in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Kiswahili but struggled in humanities. This photo was taken at KICD (formerly known as KIE), where my dad used to work. They had a library where I would spend my holidays. I was the type who believed in education over money,” she shared.

She however doesn’t understand how she ended up being a musician.

“How I transitioned into an artist, I still can’t fathom. I was the kind who couldn’t even wear tight trousers, I was the type siezi vaa tight trousers,no boyfriend till I clear school😁😂najua mnajua Hao watu,” she said.

After high school, Nadia joined Maseno University where she studied a Bachelors degree in Business Administration(Finance option) and graduated in 2018.

She recorded her first song while still in university. She decided to take her music on a professional level in 2015 when she recorded her song Barua Ya Siri. Her breakthrough came in 2017 when she released Kesi.
