Trevoh Ombija is being kept by Vanice Kwamboka who used to be the side chick of former Kisii governor James Ongwae.
Vanice benefitted financially from having an illicit affair with Ongwae who pampered her with material possession.
Unlike most side chicks who use sponsors’ money to live big and show off on social media, Vanice was smart as she managed to convince the for former county boss to invest for her in assets including properties.
While Vanice was feeding the former governor the forbidden fruit and making him believe he was the only once eating her cherry, she was secretly dating Citizen TV’s anchor Trevoh Ombija.
Vanice’s objective was to fleece Ongwae to invest in her future with Ombija.
Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai was among the first people to open the lid of Ombija and Vanice’s relationship.
In October 2022, the Citizen TV anchor made a buzz on social media after he was seen in a viral video passionately defending his lover’s joint Samaki Samaki after residents raised complaints to Nema over noise pollution.
Ombija raised a furore after suggesting that home owners should consider soundproofing their homes.
His comment rubbed Alai the wrong way and that how he exposed Ombija’s relationship with Vanice.
Alai went HAM on Ombija in a series of tweets, saying the Citizen TV anchor was defending Vanice because he was being kept as a Ben 10 by her.

It later emerged that Vanice also owns Treasure Gardens – a restaurant that was funded by the former Kisii governor.
The revelation that Ombija was Vanice’s toy boy sparked a mixed reaction on social media.
