Nyasuguta, whose real name is Eunice Wambui, is running a scamming racket in the U.A.E which has defrauded dozens of unsuspecting Kenyans.
A Kenyan living in the U.A.E took to social media to explain how Nyasuguta preys on Kenyans seeking jobs in the Gulf country.
“Nyasuguta Eunice Wamboi is here in the United Emirates and she is scamming Kenyans, she is scamming Kenyans in a very very big way,” the Kenyan whistle blower said while speaking in a video.
According to the whistle blower, Nyasuguta has managed to hoodwink local agencies that she can link job seekers with companies in the U.A.E.
“Ako hapa United Emirates anadanganya ma agents Kenya that ako na connections za job. Ma agents wanaenda wanatafuta waschana na watu wengine Wakenya wanaawambia kuna jobs Dubai. Watu wanatoa commissions kwa hizo ofisi za ma agents wakifika hapa wanakuja anachukuliwa Nyasuguta,” he said.
The whistle blower added that once the agencies send job seekers to U.A.E, Nyasuguta picks them at the airport and takes them to shady companies.
“Now understand me, before huyu Mkenya atravel hajui Nyasuguta, anajua agent but anaambiwa ukifika kwa airport someone will pick you. Nyasuguta anachukua hao waschana anawapeleka kwa some shady companies ambao hawana connections za job,” he said.
The whistle blower added that the shady companies make the Kenyan job seekers work for almost free labour.
Once the Kenyan job seeks realize they have been given a raw deal, they start pressuring the companies who then take them back to Nyasuguta.
“Hao waschana wanafika huko wanakaa wanakaa wanamaliza miezi mbili, wanamaliza miezi tatu hawajapelekwa job wanaanza kuingia overstay. Wakianza kuitisha passports zao, because sasa wanaaza kupea hizo kampuni pressure, hii kampuni inachukua huyo mschana inamurudisha kwa Nyasuguta because Nyasuguta anajipresent kwa hizi companies as an agent and she is not an agent. Nyasuguta doesn’t have an office in U.A.E, she doesn’t have license,” he said.
Once the Kenyan job seekers are returned to Nyasuguta, she confiscates their passports and demands to be paid at least Ksh100,000 claiming the monies are for covering the costs of their visa and air tickets.
“So wale waschana wakianza kupatia kampuni pressure wanarudishwa kwa Nyasuguta. Nyasuguta anachukua passports zao and anaanza kuwadaisha mbaka munipatie sijui Ksh100,000, ile visa yenye ulikuja nayo na ticket urudishe,” the whistle blower said.
“Ameangaisha Wakenya hii United Arab Emirates, I can tell you for fact my inbox is full of ladies complaining. Ako na passports za waschana as we speak now. Kuna mahali amepeleka waschana amewafungia amewanyaganya simu. She is a scam, don’t work with this lady,” he added.
