“Watu Wameharibika Bana, Kwanza Huyo Dem Anaitwa Ivy” – Sifuna Addresses Baddies Hitting On Him

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has been left red-faced after his phone number was leaked on social media, revealing a series of flirtatious messages from a mystery woman.

Sifuna’s private contact details were shared online, despite him not supporting the 2024 Finance Bill.

In a bizarre twist, he took to a podcast to read out one of the messages, which seemed to mock his supposed womanizing ways.

The message, sent by someone named Ivy, asked Sifuna about volunteering opportunities and joked about his reputation with women.

“Wacha niwasomee moja, watu wameharibika bana, kuna dem anaitwa Ivy, mimi namwanika tu leo zile vitu watu wananiambia hapa kwa inbox.

“Hi, my name is Ivy Nimesikia, and you have been chewing on girls like nobody’s business.”

“My only concern is where I can get the form so that I can sign up to volunteer,” Sifuna read the message.

Sifuna responded by jokingly thanking those who leaked his number and making light of the situation.

“I’m getting a long line of women, it’s moving,” he quipped during an interview on the Mic Check podcast.

The leak has sparked controversy in Kenya, with many taking to social media to express their shock and amusement at the situation.

Sifuna’s decision to read out the message and joke about it has been praised by some as a sign of his confidence and ability to laugh at himself.

However, others have criticized the senator for appearing to take the situation lightly and for not taking immediate action to protect his privacy.
