Machachari actor Baha, whose real name is Tyler Mbaya, was admitted to the hospital after he fell seriously sick.

The young actor told his fans that he was diagnosed with epigastric abdominal pain after being admitted to the hospital.

“Leo was one of the longest mornings ever apparently mandem got Epigastric issues. Had my first acid attack 2 years ago. Didn’t take it seriously so I didn’t go for a check-up. Today I really had to. Was in denial for a minute. All is well now,” Baha wrote.

Epigastric pain is a name for pain or discomfort right below the ribs in the area of the upper abdomen. It often happens alongside other common symptoms of your digestive system. These symptoms can include heartburn, bloating, and gas.

Epigastric pain is commonly caused by; pancreatitis, gallstones, peptic ulcer or stomach ulcer, and gastritis – this is inflammation or irritation of the stomach lining.

Other causes of epigastric pain include; Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) – stomach acids flows backwards from the stomach to the food pipe, or esophagus, and gastroenteritis – inflammation or irritation of the digestive system, caused by various viruses and bacteria.

Due to many organs being present in the epigastric area, identifying the cause of the epigastric pain can be difficult, especially as many of the diseases share the same symptoms. [sic]
