A Brazilian female influencer and content creator is said to have cut off part of her tongue so as to improve her kissing skills.
Rochelle Gareth, 22, made the decision to remove her lingual frenulum, a tissue that connects the lower part of the tongue to the floor of the mouth, because of kissing difficulties since it was too shot and she couldn’t enjoy kissing.
The move may however lead to difficulty in eating and chewing.
Gareth doesn’t regret her decision and she says that her kissing has now gotten better.
“[Until I had the surgery], I felt like I had never kissed anyone for real. It’s a really unique feeling. It [kissing] has been much better than any other kiss I’ve ever given in my life. Now it seems that my tongue is loose when kissing – before it was blocked. Whoever kissed me before must think that I didn’t know what I was doing,” she said as quoted by Daily Mail.
Being bullied and trolled because of how she talked also inspired the decision to get her tongue cut.
“I was bullied when I was younger because my speech was very compromised,” the content creator said.
