Diana Marua recently shared a heartfelt confession about her life before fame, fortune, and the first encounter with her husband, Bahati.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Diana opened up about the challenging chapters of her life, including past relationships and the moment she knew she had found her true love.
“I have had my own share of life, ups and downs. I have dated all sorts of men, been used and dumped, been heartbroken, been bartered, but all these were preparing me for God’s plan,” Diana narrated with honesty and vulnerability.
Before she crossed paths with Bahati, Diana had experienced the roller-coaster of dating, with some relationships leaving her heartbroken. However, she firmly believes that every experience she had was a stepping stone towards the beautiful chapter that was about to unfold in her life.
It was a moment of destiny when Diana met Bahati.
She recalls the instant connection she felt with him, which made her re-evaluate her romantic life.
Diana decided to leave behind all the other men she was dating because her heart was unmistakably drawn to Bahati. Love, as she discovered, had a unique way of making everything else fade into the background.

“I met @BahatiKenya, and I dropped everyone because, for once, my heart beat differently,” Diana shared. “The moment I knew we were dating, he never let go of my hand. You see gifts, you see me being crowned, but all this has taken a lot of hard work, perseverance, commitment, apologizing when you are wrong, we’ve wiped each other’s tears, submitting even when I can’t stand him, leaving everything and prioritizing someone’s emotions when we’re down, encouraging each other even when we can’t see the light of day… the list is overwhelming.” She says.
