Speaking in a YouTube video after the dowry payment, Bahati apologized to friends who were locked out of the ceremony.

The singer explained that they could not invite everyone because Diana’s dad did not want many people but only close family.

“I want to take this time to apologise to Diana’s friends, my friends, for not being invited. Unfortunately, I heard, for ruracios, the bride’s parents call the shots. The request from our dad was that we do not want visitors, in short. Kama ni invitation you will wait for the white wedding. You will just have to watch on YouTube,” Bahati said.

The musician added that he intends to invite 3000 guests to his white wedding and promised to announce the dates before their seventh anniversary.
