“So yule wa Jacque Maribe si mtoto ni toy” A fan has bashed Eric Omondi after he announced that he is currently expecting his first child since he was born.
The comedian took to Instagram to reveal the information and also shared his photos with his heavily pregnant girlfriend Lynne.
Eric said that he felt like Biblical Sarah who waited for all her life for her womb to finally be blessed.
“It has taken me 41 years but finally God has blessed me with my own. The Fruit of my loins. I feel like Sarah of Abraham of the Bible, she waited all her life for a child of her own. Thank you baby for making me a father❤❤🙏🙏🥰🥰. And to God thank you for returning our baby to us,” the funny man wrote.

Fans were however quick to not that Eric Omondi was ignoring his son with Jacque Maribe.
“Aaai Erico na mtoto wa Jacque Maribe si ni wako eti Sarah mara Abraham. My friend your seed has been around for sometime. Haki wanaume,” a netizen commented on his post.
Another said, “Aaai, yule wa Jacque Maribe ni wa nani na vile mnafanana. What’s wrong with this gender? Vile umeandika ni kama tu comedy. Wacha hizo, sema tu dad for the 2nd, 3rd time coz kuna ile hatujui.”
Another netizen however noted that Eric Omondi might have proved, through DNA, that he is not the father of Maribe’s son, hence his statement.
Eric and Maribe were involved in a paternity feud in 2021 after the former journalist labeled the comedian as a deadbeat dad.
Defending himself, the comedian denied being the boy’s dad and demanded for a DNA Test. He went ahead to exposed Maribe for refusing to allow the DNA test for years.
“For seven years I have begged Jacque to allow us have a DNA Test and she has continually refused!!! I don’t mind supporting the child but if you want me to be fully present and supportive, if you want me to be a father. Then we have to do the right thing,” he said in 2021.
A year later, he said that he regretted his public feud with Maribe. He however said that they didn’t resolve the matter but they buried the hatchet.
“I was asked not to file a lawsuit but we did not solve the issue. I have however maintained a good relationship with the child and Jacque who remains a good friend,” he told Mwende Macharia.
Meanwhile, Eric and Lynne’s great news comes just months after they lost their unborn child due to miscarriage.
