“Wakiomba, tunaomba. Alafu sasa kuna huyo Mzungu racist,” Eric Omondi has revealed that his trip to UK wasn’t all smooth.
Last week he jetted out of the country to the United Kingdom just for lunch. This is after Moses Kuria faulted him for opposing the government, yet he had sponsored him to US 7 years ago so that he can see how the world is.
Kuria said he now regrets flying Omondi out of the country and that he should have used the money to enjoy himself.
Responding to Moses Kuria’s remarks, Eric Omondi decided to leave the country for UK to prove to the CS that he can now pay for his international trips. He was however grateful for the favor that Kuria did for him 7 years ago but insisted that the government should not impose high taxes on content creators.
“After hearing Moses Kuria speak, I decided to take myself to London just for Lunch and also thank God for how far He’s brought us. Thank you bwana Kuria for Sponsoring my tour 7 years ago but PLEASE dont TAX Content Creators 15% so that they are able to tour on their own. Wewe unaelewa struggle ya Vijana na Wasanii ambia Orezo awapatie time kwanza wa grow,” the soon-to-be dad said.
Once in London, Eric Omondi decided to use the opportunity to beg Europeans for some money. He was captured sitting down on the streets as he stretched his hands to passersby. Beside him was a placard written, “Please help. Things are veeery bad.”
Eric said that the proceeds will be used to buy maize flour for struggling Kenyans and laptops for upcoming content creators.
“Wakiomba tunaomba…While in the UK I took sometime to Raise some money in the Streets of London to come and support fellow Kenyans juu sasa nikubaya. I managed to Raise Ksh 340,000 which I will use to buy Unga for a few Kenyans and Laptops for upcoming Content Creators,” he said.
Eric however experienced some challenges while begging and one of the Europeans harassed him openly. A few police officers however came to his rescue.
“Alafu sasa kuna huyo Mzungu racist,” he wrote on Instagram.
