Gospel singer Daddy Owen says he has forgiven his ex-wife Farida Wambui who fell for an older Nakuru tycoon Albert Njuguna.
Speaking in a recent interview, Owen said as a Christian he was obliged by his faith to forgive no matter the gravity of the matter.
The gospel singer had to forgive his ex-wife even though he went through a year of trauma following the incident.
“As a Christian I forgive everybody no matter how much you wronged me. I will forgive you and move on,” he said.
Daddy Owen further indicated that he was not sure if he could reconcile with his ex-wife if she was to come back to him.
“On [whether] we can get back together, that’s something I can’t answer,” he said.
Asked whether he is ready to marry again, he said: “At the moment my focus is on other things like helping people living with disabilities. My hands are full at the moment; I guess I will have to wait until when I am ready then I can review the prospects of settling down again.”
The singer recently announced that he was seeking to marry a village girl after his ex-wife eloped with a Nakuru tycoon.
His announcement sparked excitement among many single ladies who reached out begging him to marry them.
